The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) and its Group of Companies highlighted their commitment and contribution to the development of UAE petrochemicals (PetChem) industry through participating in the 8th Middle East Refining and Petrochemicals Conference & Exhibition (Middle East Petrotech 2012) which held recently. The Middle East Petrotech 2012 exhibition provides the companies participating under the umbrella of Adnoc, including Borouge and Fertil, the opportunity to exchange ideas, experiences and best practices of the industry with representatives of high-level regional and international petrochemical companies. The event is another platform for Adnoc and its Group of Companies to demonstrate Abu Dhabi’s continuous endeavors to support and improve the petrochemicals industry and be introduced to the latest technologies used in this field. The Petroleum Institute (PI) also participated highlighting the various programmes that it offers in contribution to the industry. It was noted that the PI had witnessed the graduation of its first batch of engineering students in 2006.
