The energy authority in the Gaza Strip has started operating three generators in the Gaza’s sole power station, a matter that created tangible improvement in the power supply. Director of Information Center of the Energy Ahmed Abu Amrain attributed the operation of the three generators to Egypt allowing 400,000 liters of Qatari fuel through the Karam Abu Salem border crossing east of Gaza. Abu Amrain said in a press statement today said that “9 Qatar fuel trucks with about 400,000 liters were allowed in. This has helped us to operate third generator in the power station,” he said, adding that the continued supply of Qatari fuel would improve Gaza’s power. (QNA)
