After Russia and Turkey signed the documents on Russian gas supplies to Turkey Russian gas supplies will grow by two billion cubic meters in 2012 to reach 27.5 billion cubic meters, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said on Wednesday. Meanwhile, he added that Russian gas supplies in Turkey reached an absolute record figure of 25.2 billion cubic meters in 2011. Russia and Turkey were earlier reported to agree on Russian gas supplies to Turkey until 2021 and 2025. “We agreed on long-term gas supplies to Turkey until 2021 and 2025,” Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz on Wednesday. After the negotiations between Putin, Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin and the Turkish energy minister the countries signed a package of three documents for Russian gas supplies in Turkey. On Wednesday, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller and Director General of BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation Fazil Senel signed the documents for Gazprom Export to make Russian gas supplies to Turkey.
