Saudi non-oil exports in August, 2012, amounted to SR 10,775 million, down 22.74% compared to the same period in 2011. In its report released here on Wednesday and carried by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Central Department of Statistics and Information pointed out that the exports included plastic products, petrochemicals, and foodstuffs. The Department said that Saudi non-oil imports in August, 2012 amounted to SR 38,435 million, down 5.9 % compared to the same period in 2011. It indicated that the imports included machineries, electrical appliances, transportation equipment, metals and their products, and foodstuffs. China ranked first by 14,11 per cent of total imports while the USA came second by 13,22 per cent, followed by South Korea with 7,06 per cent.
