The value of Saudi exports of non-oil goods for the month of April in 2012, reached SR 16,237 million, up SR 3,406 million for the same period last year, showing an increase of 27%, Central Department of Statistics and Information said in a report in this regard. A copy of the report was received by Saudi Press Agency 'SPA.' Exports of petrochemical products ranked first in terms of value accounting for 35% of the total value of non-oil commodity exports with a total value of SR 5,685 million. Plastic products ranked second with a total value amounting to SR 4,735 million, or 29%. Foodstuffs came in third place in the list of goods and showed a hike of 7% of the total value of these non-oil exports last April.
