Qatar's Energy and Industry Minister Mohammad bin Saleh Al Sada said that Turkey and Qatar were cooperating in LNG (liquefied natural gas) area in two aspects. Sada, who met Turkish Energy Minister Taner Yildiz in Istanbul, said that one of the cooperations was master purchase contract and the other was a long-term agreement for two million tons of LNG. Following the meeting, Sada said that they discussed Turkish-Qatari relations in energy area, adding that Qatar was ready to exert efforts to further strengthen the exiting cooperation between the two countries. We also discussed Qatar's possible investments in Turkey and assessed the potentials in energy area, he said.
