Ukraine estimates its gas transmission system (GTS) at 20 billion dollars and asks Russia for an annual gas price discount of nine billion dollars when the Russian gas major Gazprom will integrate in the Ukrainian GTS, Gazprom CEO Alexei Miller said at a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin on Friday. The countries “will resume negotiations on the issue in January,” he said.
