
Crude oil for October delivery held above $105 per barrel Friday morning. After getting a boost from manufacturing data from China, Europe and the United States Thursday, gains slowed with West Texas Intermediate crude adding 9 cents to reach $105.12 per barrel. Reformulated blendstock gasoline on the New York Mercantile Exchange added 2.36 cents to reach $2.862 per gallon. Home heating oil gained 1.22 cents to reach $3.0859 per gallon. Natural gas shed 1.9 cents to $3.526 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the national average price for a gallon of unleaded regular gasoline was $3.536, up from Thursday's $3.534, the AAA Fuel Gauge report said.
