Crude oil prices dropped close to $94 in New York Wednesday following equities lower. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, West Texas Intermediate crude oil gave up $1.68 to $94.13 per barrel. Gasoline prices dropped 2.42 cents to $2.8115 a gallon. Home heating oil fell 4.43 cents to $2.8683 a gallon. Natural gas gained 0.2 cents to reach $4.184 per million British thermal units. At the pump, the average price of a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline was $3.66 Wednesday, up from Tuesday's $3.654, the AAA Fuel Gauge Report said.
