The Chinese Capital, Beijing, will host on Tuesday the 18th China-EU Summit, China's Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hong Lei announced on Thursday.
The two-day summit will be chaired by Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang, European Council President Donald Tusk and EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, the spokesman said.
China's President Xi Jinping will meet with Tusk and Juncker during their stay in Beijing, he added.
He described the summit as the high-profile mechanism to boost dialogue between China and the EU.
Also, it will provide a good opportunity to bolster bilateral cooperation and exchange views on issues of common concern and important international issues, according to the spokesman.
