
Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman will lead the Malaysian delegation to the 42nd Session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers in Kuwait, beginning Wednesday, Bernama reported.
The two-day meetings would provide a platform for the OIC member states to discuss the way forward to resolving the issues of terrorism and extremism.
Malaysia has been a member of OIC since its establishment in 1969.
The OIC works to safeguard the interests and well-being of all Muslims in the world.
It also aims to strengthen cooperation in the political, economic, social, cultural and scientific fields.
