
Egyptian Foreign Ministry on Thursday said that the Egyptian-US strategic dialogue will kick off on Sunday at the foreign ministry's premises and will run for one day.
Foreign Ministry Spokesman Ambassador Badr Abdel Aty said that the dialogue will start with an inaugural session by Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and US State Secretary John Kerry.
ِAlso, representatives of the ministries of international cooperation, industry and investment will take part, added the spokesman.
This session will be followed by two meetings of the committees entrusted with discussing technical issues, he added, noting that political dialogue between the two ministers will be maintained.
The talks will take up regional and international issues such as terrorism and the Iranian nuclear agreement along with the situation in Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Syria, he added.
