
Jordanian King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan will start a visit to Belgium on May 17-19 at an invitation from King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium, according to a statement of the Jordanian royal Diwan on Tuesday.
During the visit, the Jordanian king will meet with the Belgian, prime minister and senior Belgian officials.
The visit comes within the framework of boosting historical ties between both countries, according to the statement.
King Abdullah II will visit Brussels along with other Belgian cities.
The Jordanian king visited Belgium on March 16 where he conferred with senior officials.
