About 230 Chinese tourists started a tour of several archaeological and tourist sites here, Chairman of Aswan Tourism Chambers Federation Khairy Mohamed Ali revealed.
The tour coincides with the Chinese president's visit to Egypt on Thursday.
Unfinished Obelisk, High Dam as well as Philae Temple and Abu Simbel in southern Aswan were among foremost sites visited by the Chinese tourists.
The number of Chinese tourists in Egypt has increased recently after signing the joint tourism agreement in 2015, Ali said in a statement.
