4000 tourists visit Luxor in 3 days

Some 4,000 tourists visited archaeological and tourist sites in the western and eastern banks in the governorate over the past three days, Head of the Tourism Police Investigation Department in Luxor Hosni Hussein said Monday.
Two medical conferences were held in Luxor in the past couple of days, one on plastic surgery and another on cardiology in which more than 800 international physicians participated, he said.
Luxor locals protect tourists in coordination with the security forces, he stressed.
