General Directorate of State Railways of the Republic of Turkey (TCDD) increased the number of trains between Turkey and Iran due to the Nowruz festival. According to a statement released by General Directorate of TCDD on Tuesday, in the scope of transferring the increasing number of passengers during Nowruz festival between the two countries, the "Trans-Asia Express Train (Transasya Ekspres Tren)" will have additional services. The service which runs only once a week has been increased to three times a week due to Nowruz festival, the statement said. The Trans-Asia Express Train runs between Tueek with couchette cars.
