Air Cairo to operate flights to Baku as of November

Air Cairo will start operating new flights to the city of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan as of this coming November.
Direct flights will leave from the Egyptian Red Sea resort city of Sharm el Sheikh to Baku and vice versa, said Yasser el Ramly, the chairman of Air Cairo, Wednesday, adding that this is part of a plan to expand regular flights of the company.
It is also part of a Tourism Ministry plan to encourage travel to Egypt through connecting Egyptian airports with those of Central Asia and Europe, Ramly added.
