Air traffic functions despite bad weather

Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced on Sunday that the air traffic is functioning normally despite the bad weather due to the dust storm passing over the country. The current visibility at Kuwait International Airport (KIA) is more than 1, 200 meters, which allows for normal air traffic for departing and arriving flights, Director of Operations' Department at KIA Essam Al-Zamel told KUNA. The country is in the path of an air front which is stirring dust, while weather is expected to improve this evening.
