AirAsia X has signed a commercial marketing agreement with South Korea’s Air Busan, offering connecting flights and special fares to Jeju Island. The Malaysian low-cost carrier launched its Kuala Lumpur-Busan route last summer, with four weekly flights. This new marketing agreement will allow AirAsia X passengers to travel on Air Busan’s flights from Busan to Jeju Island at a discounted fare. “This collaboration would further strengthen our commitment to South Korea from Kuala Lumpur and provide our guests greater connectivity between Busan and Jeju Island,” said Azran Osman-Rani, CEO of AirAsia X. “Our guests may now fly to Busan for a quick getaway and opt to travel to Jeju Island at a fare discount of up to 50% on Air Busan following this collaboration.” AirAsia X passengers wanting to travel from Busan to Jeju Island will be directed to a special landing page on the AirAsia X website, allowing them to access Air Busan’s fares.
