Routes Europe will see a record airline attendance when Europe’s only Route Development Event takes place in the Estonian capital in May. Over 80 airlines and 160 headquarter-based airline decision makers will be present in order to decide on potential new routes within Europe. Key carriers will also be giving a unique insight into their network planning process via the Route Exchange Airline Briefings. The low-cost sector will be represented by Ryanair, easyJet, Norwegian, Germanwings, Wizz, Vueling, and Jet2.com, among those attending. OneWorld member, Air Berlin, will attend its first ever Routes Europe event, recognizing the important role this event plays in its network planning process. Volotea will be presented by Chief Strategy Officer, Marco Comani, and with a very strong presence from regional carriers across Europe with Skywork, Flybe, Flybe Europe, Darwin Airlines, CityJet, Eurolot, Cimber, Danubewings, and BA Cityflyer. The Russian market is well represented with Aeroflot, S7, Rossiya, and UTAir. Flag carriers include SAS, LOT, Alitalia, CSA, Air Malta, and Bulgaria Air while out-of-region carriers, such as Etihad, Oman Air, and China Southern, will be attending. The charter market is represented by the likes of TUI, Thomas Cook, Avion Express, and Small Planet.
