Amari, part of the ONYX portfolio of hospitality brands has launched its an online booking site in Arabic. The move is specifically targeted at the Arab speaking guests providing them with a number of special packages. The launch of the booking site also comes as Amari’s network of properties and brand increases among Middle Eastern guests. Popularity for Amari properties has been especially strong among Arabian Gulf countries with 2013 room night bookings up until September seeing a 10% increase from Gulf-based travellers compared to 2012. Chetan Patel, vice president, strategic marketing and e-commerce, ONYX Hospitality Group said: “The Middle East remains a region of continued growing importance for ONYX Hospitality Group. With our initial Middle East Amari property having opened in Doha in January 2013, we are now well established and at home in the region. The launch of an Arabic online booking site was the next logical step for further integration, outreach and expansion.” Source: Travel Daily
