The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced the complete closure of part of Al Markhiya Street that extends for about 400 meters in one direction in the middle of the distance from Onaiza Intersection to Lejbilat Intersection. The closure aims to facilitate maintenance, repaving and asphalting works on the street. It added that the closure starts on the morning of Friday, 15th May 2015 to the morning of Saturday, 16th May 2015.
During the closure, drivers heading from Onaiza Intersection to Lejbilat Intersection can turn right onto Al Meshrif Street (after Onaiza Intersection) and head left to Al Mashrab Street leading to Lejbilat Intersection, as shown on the attached map.
Ashghal will install road signs to advice motorists of the closure. The authority requests all road users to abide by the speed limits, and follow the road signs to ensure their users safety.
