Aswan sees increase in tourist numbers

Aswan’s Tourist Development Administration said that the governorate received 7772 tourists from the different nationalities during the recent 24 hours, while it received 7447 Egyptian visitors. The programmes of the tourist groups included visiting a number of tourist resorts and archeological sites in addition to Nile cruises and the shopping in tourist markets. The tourists visited the temples of Kom-Ombu, Edfu, and Abu-Simble. Aswan recently witnessed unprecedented recession, while the percentage of occupancy merged between 6 to 17 percent.
