The Africa Travel Association (ATA) will hold its sixth annual US-Africa Tourism Seminar in Washington on March 8. The seminar will bring together tourism professionals and diplomatic representatives from the USA and Africa to learn about Africa’s latest growth trends, tourism projections and marketing tools to promote tourism in Africa. The event will be attended by the Ministries of Tourism of Cameroon and Zimbabwe, and diplomatic representatives from the African Union Mission to the USA and Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, and Zimbabwe. Other organisations such as EPIC Global Media, The Bradford Group, and the National Tour Association will also be in attendance. The seminar is titled Marketing Destination Africa 2020, and will feature educational workshops for the benefit of travel consumers.
