Under the slogan 'Greece All Time Classic', the Greek Tourism Minister Olga Kefalogianni presented on Wednesday communication strategies implemented for the promotion of Greek Tourism. This, as GreekReporter notes, can enable Greece to make its way through foreign markets aiming at tourism expansion and establish itself in the list of the major driving forces of tourism. ''Greece is a lot more than the current image it gives away. Crises come and go. But Greece always was and still is one of the most powerful names.'' Among other statements, Kefalogianni also stressed that what will bring Greece back to prosperity, is undoubtedly the restoration of its image and reputation to the rest of the world. Kefalogianni emphasized on the fact that, ''Greece is not just all about sea and sun. Greece is the mirror of universal values and symbols, it is a mosaic of breathtaking destinations. Only one visit to Greece is never enough.'' The Secretary General for the National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), Nikos Karahalios, pointed out that, ''there isn't any time to lose. Our country can and will again become the powerful, all time classic brand that it always was.'' He also reminded that Greece still remains among the top 20 tourist destinations in the world, even though only five years ago it ranked fifth in the list. According to Karahalios, 2013 will be a consolidation year and hard work is before us to win the big bet.
