A baggage handler at Philadelphia International Airport has been arrested for stealing $20,000 from a shipment of U.S. currency, the FBI said. Alex Price, 25, was one of the baggage handlers FBI agents interviewed the day the money disappeared from a shipment headed to the Federal Reserve facility in East Rutherford, N.J., WCAU-TV, Philadelphia, reported. FBI special agent John Cosenza said the $20,000 went missing sometime between landing at the airport and arriving at the Federal Reserve. The $20,000 was part of a $96 million shipment of brand new bills on their way to New Jersey from Dallas Oct. 11. The money wasn't scheduled to be in circulation until next year. Price was arrested Tuesday morning and charged with currency theft. The missing money was recovered from his car.
