Bahraini interior minister directs to develop traffic plans for sports events

Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today the Director-General of Traffic Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, who highlighted the obstacles faced during the implementation of the traffic plan for the Bahrain International Triathlon Challenge Championship on Saturday.
The Interior Minister stressed the importance of such championships in reflecting the role of the Bahraini youth's participation in international sports event, and promoting Bahrain's international reputation in the field of hosting major events .
He called for the need to submit proposals to develop traffic plans for future championships.
