Belgian tour operators are cancelling all their flights and holiday packages to Egypt till 31 August following the deterioration in the security situation in the country, local media reported on Saturday . About 4,000 Belgian holiday makers are affected by the decision. They have been given a choice to select a different destination or get a refund. Belgian Foreign Ministry Friday advised against all travels to Egypt even to holiday resorts at the Gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea. There are still thousands of Belgians at Egyptian holiday resorts and they will not be forced to return home earlier, said the reports. Belgian Foreign Minister Didier Reynders is expected to visit Cairo next week. But is not clear yet if the visit will go ahead or not.
