Jumeirah, the Dubai based luxury hotel group and member of Dubai Holding, has announced the opening of Jumeirah Frankfurt. Spread over 25 floors and offers stunning views over the city, this five star luxury hotel has 25 floors and 218 rooms to be occupied. The suites have a minimum size of 35m2, making them the largest rooms in Frankfurt and each room features original artwork by German contemporary artist, Hartwig Ebersbach. The hotel's signature restaurant, Max on One, is managed by Executive Chef Martin Steiner, previously of the Savoy Hotel in London and Hotel Adlon in Berlin. The lobby bar stands near the chocolaterie on the ground floor which offers the finest French patisseries and specialist chocolate confections. The hotel brings in-room technology to the next level. Instead of the conventional air-conditioning technology, the hotel features a hybrid room tempering system using body heat detectors and motion sensors that regulate all in-room energy consumption efficiently and sustainably. With its abundance of natural daylight, spacious meeting rooms and state-of-the-art facilities, Jumeirah Frankfurt is also ideal for meeting and event organizers. The 364msquared Cristal Ballroom is illuminated by more than 105,000 crystals embedded into a ceiling and can be divided into two smaller areas and offer stunning views of the Thurn-und-Taxis Palais. The ballroom offers advanced lighting and audio-visual equipment with professional AV support should it be required. For functions and banquets, four meeting rooms accommodating between 30 and 100 persons are available. Jumeirah Frankfurt also offers a 24 hour Business Centre with secretarial services and personal meeting coordinators on hand to support customers' every need. Located in the city centre at the Thurn-und-Taxis square, it is in close vicinity to the business district, opera and shopping streets, just five minutes from Messe Frankfurt exhibition centre and within walking distance of some of the city's major attractions including Frankfurt Opera House, Goethestrasse and the 'MyZeil' shopping centre. Frankfurt's main station is also located just two minutes from the hotel.
