Cairo International Airport is preparing to return pilgrims to Egypt in the new seasonal terminal. Airport employees will work, providing all facilities and services as pilgrims return from the pilgrimage in Mecca. The airport also made operation rooms in the seasonal terminal and Terminal 1. EgyptAir will transport 90,000 pilgrims on 353 flights. The company had transported pilgrims to Mecca on 326 flights. Saudi Airlines’ 80 flights transported 22,000 Egyptian pilgrims, in coordination with all authorities and the company. In a meeting held Thursday morning for all employees at the airport, the company said it will facilitate baggage claims to prevent any possible crisis.
