
Russian carrier Orenair launched a direct air route between China's Tianjin Municipality and Russia's Moscow on Wednesday.
A Boeing B777-200 passenger plane arrived at Tianjin Binhai International Airport at around 9 a.m., marking the opening of the city's first direct air route to Europe, the airport spokesman said.
The 364-seater plane will leave Moscow at 2:20 a.m. every Wednesday and Friday and returns from Tianjin the same day, according to the spokesman.
Tianjin Binhai International Airport has opened 112 air routes with 85 cities.
