The 12th edition of Airport Show was inaugurated in Dubai on Tuesday by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority (DCAA) and Chairman of Dubai Airports. The show this year has attracted 201 companies from 32 countries, including China, Denmark, France, Germany, Swiss and the UK which have set up dedicated pavilions, according to the organisers of the show. More than 5,000 visitors from the aviation and other economic sectors are expected to attend the show over the three-day period. Quoting a report by Frost & Sullivan, the show's oganisers said that $86 billion will be spent by Middle East airports in expansion plans until 2025.
