UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum officially inaugurated Dubai Metro''s Green Line on Friday, the second and final phase of the city''s rail network. Sheikh Mohammed unveiled a plaque commemorating certificate issued by the Guinness World of Records confirming Dubai Metro as the world''s longest fully Automated Rail System. Sheikh Mohammad along with invited guests took ride of the 23km long line all the way to Etisalat Station. The line will open to passengers from Saturday, September 10, Emirates WAM news agency reported. The Green Line passes through 20 stations, including 18 of its own stations and two transfer stations shared by both the Green and the Red Lines. Two of its stations, including Al Ras and Al Ghubaiba, have unique heritage designs
