The first Arab tourism forum will take place in Riyadh on January 15-16 and Egypt will be this year's exhibition's guest of honor.
In statements to MENA on Monday, Egyptian tourism expert Sameh Saad said the forum will be held under the auspices of the Saudi Ministry of Tourism, the Egyptian embassy in Riyadh and the Egyptian Tourism Promotion Authority.
Saudi Minister of Tourism Prince Sultan Bin Salman is expected to inaugurate the important event as being the first specialized tourism forum that caters to the public, travel companies and hotels and supports Egyptian tourism, he said.
A key part of the exhibition will showcase a large number of Egyptian resorts and travel companies to get the Saudi community acquainted with the tourism attractions in Egypt, he added.
The forum will be a great opportunity to market Egyptian tourist attractions and persuade the visitors of the advantages of tourism in Egypt, he pointed out.
