The Head of EgyptAir Office in Morocco Magdi Ahmed el-Anoar said that the number of passengers on the daily flights between Cairo International Airport and Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca increased during the last three months from 70 to 90 percent.
In statements, el-Anoar underlined that this increase is attributed to the keenness of the Moroccan citizen to visit Egyptian tourist sites especially the religious ones.
This is also due to the conferences' tourism, he added.
The International Tourism Forum, which is held annually in Casablanca and attended by a great number of tourist officials, demanded increasing daily flights between Cairo and Casablanca, el-Anoar noted.
He further said that the visit of the tourist agents to Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou in December 18 resulted in the inking of important agreements to promote tourism between the two countries during the coming phase.
