
Egypt took part in the 7th annual charity market, organized by wives of accredited foreign ambassadors in Warsaw, the Egyptian charge d'affairs in Poland said Friday.
Tamer el-Meligi said the participation came amid the embassy's efforts to boost tourism in Egypt, and highlight Egyptian presence in Polish community and accredited diplomatic corps.
As many as 60 embassies took part in the charity event, el-Meligi said adding it attracted more than 2000 visitors in its first day.
Visitors praised the Egyptian pavilion, which included many famous Egyptian artifacts.
The revenues of the market are directed to charity works in Poland.
