
Egypt and South Africa are golden destinations on the travel map and international tourism map, said the regional director of EgyptAir in South Africa Ihab Seif.
Speaking at a special forum on promoting for the Egyptian economy and investment opportunities in Egypt held by the regional office of EgyptAir in Johannesburg, Seif said that there are 14 million tourists who visit South Africa annually, adding that the same number also visits Egypt annually and this creates a joint tourism market between the two countries.
There is a possibility to develop joint plans for tourism, travel and transferring goods between Egypt and South Africa, he added.
He further reviewed the investment opportunities in Egypt and the outcome of the Egypt Economic Development Conference, which was recently held in Sharm el Sheikh.
