
Tourism Minister Hisham Zaazou left here on Sunday for Britain to attend the World Travel Market (WTM) tourism bourse in London, due open Monday.
In pre-departure statements, the minister asserted the importance of the Egyptian participation in the four-day WTM where a galaxy of tourism experts and organizations are taking part.
He said the visit comes as part of a series of meetings which aim at promoting for tourism in the British market.
Meanwhile, Tourism Ministry Spokesperson Rasha al Azayzie said Egypt's pavilion at the exhibition is set up on 850 square meters area with some 96 exhibitors from various governorates and hotels taking part.
