
Egypt's ambassador to Thailand said on Monday that concerts and performances held in the capital Bangkok by Egyptian troupes are part of a program to promote the Egyptian tourism and attract tourists from the Asian countries.
"An Egyptian troupe will present performances and dances today in a ceremony in Bangkok," Hazim el Tahri told MENA.
The troupe will head for Australia to hold concerts, the diplomat added.
Tahri discussed, during his meeting with Thailand's Tourism Minister Kobkarn Wattanavrangkul ways of boosting cooperation between the two sides in the field of tourism.
The Egyptian diplomat also met with Thailand's culture minister.
