
New Transport Minister Saad el Geyoushi inspected on Sunday the Cairo-Suez road to inspect the work progress on a 70-km stretch.
The minister affirmed the need to finalize the upgrading and widening of this of this road according to quality standards.
Head of General Authority for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport Adel Turk and Head of Holding company for Roads, Bridges and Land Transportation Ramzy Lashin also accompanied the minister in his inspection tour.
Geyoushi was sworn in on Saturday before President Abdel Fattah El Sisi as Egypt's new transport minister.
