
The eighth plane of the third air bridge arrived on Wednesday morning at Qamishli Airport, carrying relief provided by the office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugee Affairs (UNHCR).
Director of the UNHCR office in Qamishli Maha Sedqi told SANA’s correspondent that the shipment contains blankets, plastic covers and mats, water containers, kitchen utensils, and health baskets, and that they will be distributed among those who need them.
The air bridge consists of 11 planes bringing an overall cargo of over 440 tons of aid that will be distributed among around 50,000 people.
