Emirates Sydney-Dubai flight turns back after engine snag

An engine problem forced an Emirates A380 superjumbo to turn back to Sydney, the airline said MondayEmirates Flight EK413 from Sydney to Dubai on Sunday had to turn back shortly after take-off due to an engine trouble, the airline confirmed Monday. Passengers, who, local media said heard a ‘loud bang and saw a flash of orange,’ were disembarked and rebooked on alternative flights. Hotel arrangements were made for other passengers as well.
