
Jordanian royal call for concerted efforts to face challengesEtihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, on 7 August, announced re-routing its flights to avoid Iraq's conflict airspace. It also announced the suspension of its scheduled flights to Erbil, Iraq until further notice, due to the deterioration of security situation in parts of Iraq.
Etihad Airways has confirmed that the safety of its passengers and crew members come on top of its priorities, and it will closely monitor the security situation there.
Etihad Airways affirmed that its flights to Basra and Baghdad will continue operating normally.
