Etihad Cargo, a division of Etihad Airways, has launched the Etihad Kabayan Box - a dedicated personal freight service for the 500,000-strong Filipino expatriate community living in the UAE. Available from today, the new service will allow Filipinos to send up to 20 kilos for 150 AED* and up to 50 kilos for 350 AED* by air to the capital of the Philippines, Manila. While the service is for personal belongings only, there is no restriction on the number of Etihad Kabayan Boxes that may be booked. Kevin Knight, Etihad Airways' Chief Strategy and Planning Officer, said: "Etihad Airways flies twice daily from Abu Dhabi to Manila and the new service is ideally suited to the Filipino expatriate community based in the UAE who want to take more luggage with them to their home country, or send gifts to family and friends in the Philippines. Grace Relucio Princesa, Philippine Ambassador to the UAE welcomed Etihad Kabayan Box service.
