Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, and S7 Airlines, Russia's fastest growing airline and the country's largest domestic carrier, have revised the commercial agreement between them, the Emirati airline announced in an emailed statement yesterday. The revised deal will allow Etihad and S7 passengers to book flights from four Russian regional cities for travel to and from Abu Dhabi and beyond, connecting with Etihad's daily Moscow services. The new codeshare cities served are: Kazan (KZN), Samara (KUF), Krasnodar (KRR) and Saint Petersburg (LED). Joint operations "The Russian regional cities are now even more accessible from Abu Dhabi and beyond on the Etihad network, thanks to the expansion of our codeshare agreement with S7 Airlines," said James Hogan, Etihad Airways Chief Executive Officer. "We view the revised partnership as a natural extension of the successful joint operations we launched in March 2010."
