The Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority (TCA) recently released figures for January – end of July 2013. The Emirate witnessed hotel occupancy touch the 1.5 million mark for the period, demonstrating a 10% increase in tourism numbers from last year. Riding on this growth, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi is showcasing 20 high-thrill rides, family-friendly attractions, spectacular live shows, kids’ entertainment and Italian-themed shopping and dining experiences. This showcase was put up at the on-going World Travel Market (WTM) in London. Bruno Wiley, sales director, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi said: “We hope to attract even more visitors to our leisure hub, Yas Island. The Park has significantly contributed to the appeal of Yas Island. We are preparing to launch a brand new attraction later this year. Karting Academy will be the first electric powered go-karts in the region; and will add up to our portfolio of thrill at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.” Source: Travel Daily
