Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Sabah, Bahrain's Foreign Minister Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and Omani Foreign Minister Yousef bin Alawi left Cairo on Thursday after taking part in an Arab League foreign ministers meeting.
The extraordinary meeting was held at a request of Iraq to discuss the Turkish military intervention in the Arab country, especially in the north.
Addressing the get-together, AL chief Nabil el Aaby said that Turkey had to comply with the internationally-recognized borders, describing the Turkish move as a flagrant violation of the international law and the UN Charter.
He expressed hope that Turkey would immediately respond to the Iraqi demands, noting that the Turkish intervention not only threatens Iraq, but also the security of the whole Arab region.
