
The Ministry of Interior stated today that the French Embassy and the Consulate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia started issuing the Schengen Visa valid for four years.
The Director of General Directorate of Public Relations and Information at the Ministry of Interior, Major General Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Maro'al, said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 'The Ministry of Interior wishes to draw the attention of citizens to what it had received from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the memorandum received by it from the French Embassy in Riyadh including that the French Embassy and the Consulate in the Kingdom started issuing the Schengen Visa valid for four years, or for a period corresponding with the date of the passport's validity in the case if it is less than four years and three months for Saudi citizens effective from 23/01/1436 AH corresponding to 16/11/2014 AD.
