German airbus emergency landing at Phuket

An Airbus belonging to Air Berlin, the second biggest air company in Germany, made an emergency landing at Phuket international airport on Thursday night, bursting several tyres, after smoke was detected in the cabin 20 minutes after taking off. An Air Berlin spokesperson said that the Airbus 330 had made a safe emergency landing and that no injuries were reported among the 249 passengers who were on board.
