German Ambassador in Cairo Hansjoerg Haber asserted that Germany had lifted travel ban on all Egyptian tourism destinations except for Taba.
This came during Haber’s meeting with Prime minister Ibrahim Mahlab. His adviser for transport affairs Hany Azar attended.
The ambassador said Germany is keen on participating, on the level of the government and companies, in an economic conference slated to be held this month in Sharm el Sheikh especially that his country is considering Egypt as an important country in the Middle East and North Africa.
He said that German authorities eye to work in Egypt in the coming period especially after restoring stability and the government’s keenness to ease and facilitate measures to attract foreign investors.
